Svetlana Wing Obituary (1959

Litchfield - Svetlana Victorovna Wing, 50, of Litchfield passed away Tuesday Dec. 29th 2009 at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston following a long battle with melanoma. She was born in Siberia, Russia on July 13, 1959 a daughter of Victor Podkolzin and Lyudmila Razenkova . Svetlana moved to Crimea, Ukraine when she was eight years old. She was a Pharmacist in the Ukraine when she came to the United States in April of 2000. She passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) in 2005. Svetlana was employed by Comprehensive Pharmacy Services as a pharmacy technician at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She very much enjoyed her work and co workers.She was a member of the Slavophile Society, and the Harvest Hills Church in Auburn.Svetlana is survived by her husband Lyle K. Wing of Litchfield, her son Oleg Sergeevich Wing of Litchfield, her mother Lyudmila Razenkova of Yalta, Ukraine and her brother Oleg Nikolaevich Razenkov of Yalta , Ukraine.Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Dec 31 and Saturday, Jan., 2nd from 4 to 7 pm at Staples Funeral Home 53 Brunswick Ave. Gardiner where a funeral service will be held Sunday Jan 3rd 2010 at 2:30 pm. Burial will be in the spring in the Litchfield Plains Cemetery.
