Shaun Hall Obituary (2016)

CHELSEA Shaun M. Hall, 57, of Chelsea died unexpectedly Saturday, July 2, 2016, at his home. He was born in Gardiner, Maine on December 3, 1958, a son of Robert J. Hall and Maureen (Sally) Canavan Hall. Shaun attended Kents Hill and Maranacook Commnity School. He was a flooring contractor for many years installing flooring in many fine homes and businesses throughout the New England area. Shaun had a great passion for nature, hunting and fishing. Anyone who knew Shaun knew that if they were ever on Survivor Shaun was the man to have on your team. He was predeceased by his wife, Cynthia (Flower) Louise Hall, his mother Maureen (Sally) Canavan Hall, his father Robert J. Hall and his step-mother Marie DeShon Hall He is survived by his three children, Spencer Fielder and his wife Shannon of Vassalboro, Shannon and her partner Taylor Matkin of Augusta and Shaun Hall Jr. of Chelsea; his seven siblings Scott J. Hall of Augusta, Steven Hall, of Wayne, Stacia Hall, of Winslow, Stephanie Hall, of Bangor, Jason Hall, of Rockledge, Fla. and Sarah Plante and Kate Taylor of Readfield; three grandchildren Cody and Kelsie Fielder of Vassalboro and Constance Matkin of Augusta and many nieces. Visiting hours will be Sunday July 24th from 5:30 -7:00 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner, ME.
