Pauline (Polly) Perry Obituary (1928

Farmingdale-Pauline (Polly) Gloria Perry, 83, of Farmingdale died Saturday August 4, 2012 at the Thornton Hall Assisted Living facility in Brunswick with her family by her side. She wintered in Silver Springs, Florida since 1983 until her illness. She was born in Randolph on August 18, 1928 a daughter of Harold and Mildred (Ware) James.Pauline was employed for five years at the Commonwealth and Shoe and Leather Company in Gardiner, for four years at the R.P. Hazzard Shoe of Gardiner, for nine years at the Kennebec Manufacturing Company in Farmingdale, and for Sylvania Electronic in Waldoboro retiring after twelve years. She was a caregiver for many years for her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing at Rangely Lake, cooking, traveling, playing BINGO, cribbage, gambling and crocheting. During the summers she lived in her cottage on Long Pond.Pauline was predeceased by three sisters, Florence Jensen, Evelyn Ronco, Barbara Flagg and a brother Harold James, JrShe is survived by her sons, Vernon Perry of Vassalboro, David Houdlette of Brunswick and her daughter Denice Harvey of Farmingdale, three grandchildren Shane Harvey, Shannon Harvey, and Vernon Perry, II, three great grandchildren Rowan Harvey, Jazmyne Chapman and Sabearien Harvey.Committal Service will be private.
