Patricia Marshall Lapointe Obituary (1936 - 2009)

Patricia K. Marshall Lapointe, 73, of the Hallowell Road, Chelsea died Sunday October 25 2009 at the Augusta Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Gardiner on June 27, 1936 a daughter of and James H. and Irene E Goggin Marshall.She was predeceased by her husband Romeo (Pete) Lapointe on Oct 17, 2007, her grandson Mark Lapointe, Jr., her brothers Duane Marshall, Herman Thayer, and William Marshall, Sr. and her sister Yvonne (Rita) Leathers.She graduated from Gardiner High School. She had been employed at Hannaford's Super Markets in Augusta in the bakery. She enjoyed playing Bingo, watching birds at her feeder and going to sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by 4 sons, Michael G. Lapointe and wife Charlotte, Robert A. Lapointe and wife Charlene, Mark J. Lapointe and wife Mary and Joseph P. Lapointe all of Chelsea, her brothers, James Marshall of New Gloucester and Ronald Marshall of Naples and her sister, Kathy Dow of Scarborough, 6 grandchildren Aaron, Joshua, Justin, Ashley, Amanda, and Heather, 4 great grandchildren Dale, Michael, Azailyah, and Brayden, several cousins, nieces and nephews and her faithful companion Bandit.Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct 27th from 6-8pm at Staples Funeral Home 53 Brunswick Ave. Gardiner where a celebration of her life will be held Wednesday Oct. 28th at 10 am. Burial will be in the Chelsea Heights Cemetery.
