Chelsea- Nancy D. Morang, 71, passed away on January 14, 2014 at the Alfond Center for Health at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 14, 1942 to James and Viola Wentworth Fuller. She grew up in West Gardiner and attended the local schools. \r\r\nShe was employed at Healthtex, Truitt Brothers, Etonic Shoe until it closed, Windsor Fair Gate 4 for many years which she enjoyed, and she also babysat many neighborhood children. She enjoyed sewing, alterations, making quilts, crocheting, knitting, camping, and family get-togethers. \r\r\nNancy married Gilbert Morang Sr. on February 15, 1958. They were married for 45 years until his passing in 2003. \r\r\nShe is survived by her son Gilbert Morang Jr. and wife Debbie of Chelsea, daughters Ernestine Albert of Poland and Susan Grazioso and husband Glenn of Whitefield, grandsons Vern Morang and fiancé Caitlyn Carl of West Gardiner, Jesse Morang and wife Emily of Pittston, Greg Grazioso and fiancé Abby Michaelson of Whitefield, Gary Grazioso and companion Erin Williams of Saugus, Massachusetts, Michael Pomerleau and wife Stacey of Lewiston, one granddaughter Monica Geroux and husband Michael of Augusta, brothers; Lewis Fuller and wife Pauline of West Gardiner, James Fuller and wife Linda of West Gardiner, sisters; Gertrude Emery and husband Bill of West Gardiner, Effie Whartun of West Gardiner, Elaine Denham and husband Reggie of Whitefield, Florence Perkins and husband Nyles of West Gardiner, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends. \r\r\n She was predeceased by a son Bernard Morang who died at birth, a brother George Fuller, sisters Clara Perry and Doris Benner. \r\r\nThe family would like to express their gratitude to the Nurses and Doctors on 2 West at the hospital for the excellent care they gave our mother; it was greatly appreciated. \r\r\nGraveside service will be held in the spring, a day and time to be announced at a later date.
