Matilda Adams Obituary (1936 - 2010)

Augusta -- Matilda Jane Adams, 73, of Augusta passed away on Saturday July 3, 2010 at the MaineGeneral Medical Center Thayer in Waterville. She was born in Gardiner on Dec. 4, 1936 a daughter of Madeline Emery and Harold Adams. Educated in Augusta schools, Jane loved to travel, taking a few trips to Arizona and Florida. She enjoyed going to the beach, eating out and years ago dancing. She was predeceased by her son, Joey Wallace, a daughter Missy Wallace-Skidget, her parents and a sister Patricia Bellfluer.She is survived by her long time companion Bill Daulton of Augusta, her brother, Charlie Cunningham of Hallowell and Florida, her three daughters, Joann Muscarella-Padgett of Colorado Springs, CO, Kathy Muscarella-Sippie of Toms River, NJ and Lisa Wallace of Mt. Vernon, nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Visiting hours will be held Wednesday July 7 from 6 to 8pm at Staples Funeral Home 53 Brunswick Ave Gardiner where a funeral service will be held Thursday July 8 at 11am. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery Dresden.
