BELGRADE - Judith "Judy" Ann (Garboski) Woodward, 73, formerly of Belgrade, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 3, 2018 at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation, Greybirch in Augusta.\r\n\r\nShe was born in Augusta, Nov. 18, 1944, the daughter of Harold and Lois Keene.\r\n\r\nJudy loved spending time with her family, taking care of her husband, Edwin Woodward, before he passed away in 2012, and she always took special care of her dogs, Jack, Benji, and Hannah. Before being diagnosed with cancer and having a stroke, in 2014, Judy also loved spending time with her longtime, best friend, Suzanne Stollenwerck, shopping and going to lunch.\r\n\r\nJudy is survived by her brother, Bruce Keene and wife Ruby; her son, Frank Garboski, Jr. and wife Barbra, and daughters, Lisa Garboski and partner Eric Petrie, Sharon Graham and husband Hugh, Kelly Long and partner Sheldon Lane, Amy Cox, and Diane Plante and partner Justin Curtis; grandchildren: Erica Dickson, Tyler and Jocelyn Tripp, Derek and Kayla Hayden, Ashley and Amanda Garboski, Jon, Andrew and Jacob Cox, and Ryan Plante; great-grandchildren; Brayden, Abby, Gavin, Lexi, Teagan, and Kane. She is also survived by many special nieces and special nephew, Jim Rogers and wife Cecil.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be held at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 from 4-7 pm. Funeral services will be held also at Staples Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Belgrade.
