H Kelley Obituary (1929 - 2010)

Randolph -- H. Maxine (Teeny) Kelley, 81, of Randolph died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta. She was born in Gardiner on March 1, 1929 a daughter of Herbert and Alice (Allen) Goodwin Sr.Helen attended the Colburn School in Pittston and Gardiner High School. She was a 50 year member of the Pittston Congregational Church, a 6o year charter member of the Pittston Community Daughters, a 20 year member and officer of the Pittston Fair and 10 year as a school board director for MSAD # 11 for the Town of Pittston. Her children and grandchildren were the most important people in her life and she loved them all dearly. Teeny loved to read, gardening and make crafts for the Pittston Community Daughters. She followed horse pulling at fairs in and out of state. Teeny also loved a good joke.She was predeceased by her husband, John C. Kelley, six brothers and sisters, Kay Cross, Evelyn Linton, Herbert Goodwin, Jr, Olive Sutherburg, Harold W. Goodwin and Malcolm Goodwin.She is survived by three sons, Phillip K. Barter and his wife Margaret of Gardiner, John W. Kelley and his wife Terri of Pittston and Jay A. Kelley and his wife Priscilla of Pittston, her brother Wentworth (Wimpy) Goodwin and his wife Kay of Pittston and her sister Bertha Rankins of St. Petersburg, FL, 8 grandchildren, Faith Barter, Hope Barter, Jody Mezzacapo and her husband Erik, Ben Kelley, Elizabeth Kelley, Acadia Kelley, Kineo Kelley, and Camden Kelley, 2 great grandchildren Julia and Emma Mezzacapo.There will be no visiting hours. A funeral service will be held Wednesday Aug. 11 at 2pm at the Pittston Congregational Church.
