My sincere condolences and prayers to all on my reading Barbara's obituary in the Kennebec Journal; may she and Bill enjoy their final time together and rest in peace.

Rest in peace Barbra until we meet again.

My favorite teacher ever in 4th and 5th grade many years ago. My condolences to all her family and friends; but especially to Leah, Ellen, Warren, and Joanne M. - what a small world it really is! Jim Bourque

How did Steve know Barbara?

" Barbara was a substitute teacher for an extended time for her husband (Ken Rollins) at Hall-Dale Junior High in Hallowell & I had quite a crush on her! I saw her years later & explained it all to her in person!"

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Barbara’s awful illness and sudden passing. We last saw her perhaps 20+ years ago when she visited Newport with friends. I(Tony) have many fond memories of Barbara especially of her wonderful sense of humor. She and I had a lot of laughs when, as young teenagers, I visited the Morway home in Fairfield multiple times. Doris and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to all members of her family at this most melancholy time. Tony & Doris Walsh, Newport, RI

A kinder, funnier, thoughtful or more helpful friend would be more than hard to find. The mischievous times we shared while raising children were not to be forgotten. And only continued through the 50 years we shared as neighbors and special friends.
