    HALLOWELL, ME – James Chandler (born January 15, 1938) died March 26, 2025, of natural causes. He resided in New Gloucester with his parents, John and Erma Chandler, and sister Anna until 1963. After graduating the University of Maine in 1960, with a BS degree in Civil Engineering, he began a long career with the Maine Department of Transportation. He resided in Hallowell from 1967 until his last days. Jim is predeceased by his parents, sister and wife of 38 years, Dolores Chandler.     Randolph- Bertrand Reginald Roy, 93, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Maine General Hospital in Augusta. Bert was born in Augusta, Maine on February 19, 1932, the son of the late Dominic and Florence (Poulin) Roy. Later in life, Florence married Oscar Theriault to whom Bert was close. He served in the Korean Conflict in the early 1950’s. On July 19, 1963, Bert married Peggy Grotton and became dad to her two sons Rick and Ron. Their son, Reggie, was born in 1964.     Randolph- Joan Annette Kirby, passed away on March 18, 2025. She was born in Brownville Junction, Maine on April 2, 1938 to William and Helen Kirby. Upon graduating, she began working at the Air Force Base in Caribou, Maine. Three years later, she moved to Tampa, Florida where she continued her federal employment with the Social Security Administration (SSA): married Paul DePlanche, and eventually transferred to SSA in Augusta to be closer to her family. Tom was born in Gardiner, Maine on October 4, 1955, the son of the late Sanford E. Allen and Arlene A. (Malaney) Gervais. He attended local schools and earned his high school diploma. Debra was born April 18, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, to parents Tony Montoya and Ruth Mascarenaz. She moved to Maine when she was 18 and resided in South Gardiner for over two decades. Debra was employed by Carleton Woolen Mills and for the State of Maine in her early years. She also worked as a Hotel Supervisor for many years in Utah before returning to Maine.
